Selling printables or digital files on Etsy? See what you keep from each sale, for UK, Canadian and Australian shops.

How it's worked out

Etsy charges a US$0.20 listing fee (converted to your currency; edit the box for today's rate), a 6.5% transaction fee on the price, and a payment processing fee based on your bank country: UK 4% + £0.20; Canada 3% + CA$0.25 (domestic and US orders) or 4% + CA$0.25 (international); Australia 3% + A$0.25 domestic or 4% + A$0.25 international.

A Regulatory Operating fee also applies: 0.48% in the UK, 0.50% in Canada (none listed for Australia). Digital downloads have no shipping, so these fees apply to the price. If a sale came through Etsy Offsite Ads, 15% (or 12%) of the order is added, capped at US$100 per order (we apply the cap as about £75, CA$140 or A$155 in your currency; check today's exchange rate).

Etsy may charge VAT/GST/HST on its seller fees depending on your location and tax registration, so enter your rate (UK default 20%; Australia typically 10% GST; Canada depends on province) or 0 if you reclaim it.
